The Market Approaches!
Hello my loyal blogowers, I've missed you! Did you miss me? Of course you did! I know you're all dying to know what I've been up to, so here goes:
Ali, Amy and I have been getting the Market ready for Market Season. We learned a lot of things from the Season last year, so this year we are making some changes we're sure you'll love! But changes require work, which I didn't realize until I volunteered to help. Work is not the most fun thing -- I'd much prefer to sleep on my Christmas bed, or eat food from the magic food bowl -- but I know nothing would get done around here if I didn't supervise! Don't get me wrong -- Ali and Amy are great, but they never would've added an extra table or painted the walls green if I hadn't suggested it. You humans don't know the first thing about feng shui!
Despite having to manage all the work, it's been fun watching the Market take shape! Of course there will be fruit and food and tractor rides, but there will also be a "museum" section showcasing all of our family's old tools and farm equipment! Some of this stuff is over a hundred years old! That's older than Perry! We will also have a sitting section with a checkerboard table! I'm planning on spending the majority of my time under that table, rooting for whoever pets me the most!
The Market will be opening August 1st, which is only two Saturdays from now! Make plans to come see all the hard work I've done!
